This website is free. Follow the tipsters in form.
My own advice would be to go through the races on the Totesport website abou an hour before racing starts and look for evidence that horses have been backed already. Bigger prices shortened in poor/weak races eg 16/1 > 14/1 > 12/1 etc are worth an interest. Look at the Racing Post Spotlights for these horses and choose a couple with positive comments. Go for value. Avoid Odds On. Good Luck

Personally I would leave Irish Racing alone, as it doesn't fling up as many surprises as UK mainland racing. Read the basic form of the horses for free on the racing post website -
http://www.racingpost.com
DISTANCE | GROUND | WEIGHT | CLASS | TRAINER RECENT FORM | COURSE CHARACTERISTICS | HORSE RECENT FORM | TRAINER COURSE FORM | DAYS SINCE LAST RACE
If you follow the above with a marking system, sticking mainly to handicaps (Non AW) & risk 2 - 3% of your betting bank, apply strict money management rules & always keep your discipline then, you'll be well on your way to future long term profitability.
