Langhfur was a race horse sired by Dansig in 1992. Im want to know how he did on the track. What was his record and what races did he win.

Langfuhr is the sire of Lawyer Ron-2006 Kentucky Derby contender. The dam of Lawyer Ron was Donation by Lord Avie out of dam Reddy Change.



Langfuhr was sired by Danzig out of the dam Sweet Briar Too by Briartic.



Langfuhr is currently standing at Lane's End in Versailles, Kentucky (Tel# = 859-873-7300----Address = P.O. Box 626, Versailles, Kentucky 40383. Fax = 859-873-3746----E-Mail = Lanesend@ix.netcom.com----Web Site = lanesend.com). He is standing at stud for a fee of $20,000, (up from $10,000 for 2005)



Langfuhr gained distinction by winning the Carter Handicap (G1) Vosburgh Stakes (G1), and Metropolitan Handicap (G1) over a two year racing period from 1996 and 1997. Most recently, he is best known as the sire of 2003 Canadian Triple crown winner Wando. Bred and owned by Gustav Schickedanz, Langfuhr earned a Sovereign Award as Canada's outstanding sprinter in 1996 and finished among the leading sires in North America in 2003.



Former Canadian champion sprinter Langfuhr and outstanding Sam-Son Farm broodmare Classy 'n Smart head a list of five thoroughbred interests to be inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame. Others to be inducted into the Canadian Horse Racing Hall of Fame on August 26, 2006, are Wonder Ware, an outstanding filly from the late 1950's, trainer Red Smith and the late Don McClelland who died in 2005.
